Ritter finally prevails in patent infringement case

Eppendorf brought a law suit accusing Ritter of contributional patent infringement by distribution of its dispenser tips "ritips professional" which are designed to fit both into Eppendorf's dispenser "multipette plus" and into a number of other manufacturer's dispensers.

On 27 February 2007, the Federal Supreme Court (Bundesgerichtshof) finally dismissed Eppendorf's law suite (as already did the first instance district court) finding that Ritter's ritips professional do not infringe Eppendorf's patent rights.
