More flexibility and better compatibility

The riplate® PCR is especially developed for automated PCR analysis. Therefore the riplate® PCR is very well suited for HTS (High Throughput Screening) as well as for manual DNA analysis.

Riplate PCR combines two different materials: Virgin polypropylene for the reaction plate and polycarbonate for the surrounding frame. Unique is the way of merging these two materials: Riplate PCR uses an innovative joining system. Both form-locked components may be separated after use. The frame may be re-used by inserting a new reaction plate. This offers previously unknown possibilities for supply and disposal of lab consumables.

The reaction- plate is made of high- purity polypropylene which offers high chemical resistance and leads to a negligible binding of macromolecules due to its surface properties. The thin-walled wells provide a good heat transfer and minimize condensation.

The polycarbonate frame offers rigidity and grants compliance to measurement tolerances over a wide temperature range.

Compatibility:

• riplate® PCR comply to SBS standard
• are suitable for all common thermocyclers, e.g. MJ Research, Biometra, Eppendorf
• hold 12 notches - ideal for use in automated liquid handling systems

Application:

• thin-walled wells of polypropylen grant a good transmission of temperature and minimize condensation
• V-shaped cavities allow a high recovery of samples
• raised well rims provide a large variety of suitable sealing methods and prevent cross contamination
• riplate® PCR can be handled easily even in hot condition due to the surrounding polycarbonate frame
