Reusable sterilisation and transport container

Ritters polysteribox® is made of a transparent, highly stable and temperature resistant special plastic material tested up to 150°C. It is therefore especially suitable for autoclave vacuum sterilisation at 121°C or 134°C as the method most recommended by the relevant authorities (e.g. Robert Koch Institute, Germany). It is also suitable for plasma sterilisation (STEARRAD®) and for gas sterilisation (formaldehyde and ethylene oxide) at a maximum of 65°C and twice the ventilation time as that of a metal container. Lid and bottom part close hermetically.
A built-in bacteria barrier (Loop of Henle) prevents the penetration of germs and bacteria without additional gasket. Therefore polysteribox®is suitable for use in industrial dishwashers with the filter remaining in place.
For your convenience Ritter offers two PTFE filter systems, either a permanent filter subject to annual change or a life-time filter.
The three standard sizes are suitable for all current autoclaves. Ritter polysteribox® is CE marked according to European directive 93/42/EWG. As a validated system it meets the requirements of DIN 58952, DIN 58953, EN 868-1, 868-8, 554, ISO 11607, DIN EN ISO 17664, 13485 and 11137-1.
In short: Ritter polysteribox® is the solution for all aspects of the procurement, storage and logistics of sterile goods in these times of increasing government control and growing requirements for validated processes in sterile goods supply systems.

• Sophisticated system of transparent and robust stable plastic material incorporates the advantages of conventional common sterile packaging - blister packs or metal containers - and avoids the respective disadvantages.

The first product of its kind: The polysteriboxis the first product of its kind. Its inventor, Mr. Werner Ulschmid of Ansbach District Hospital, Germany, was awarded the B.A.U.M.* environmental prize in 1993 for the polysteribox.
